VP of Accounts

The Role

The VP of Accounts at Shinebox is an executive leadership position overseeing client relationships and driving growth. Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our client portfolio. Working with account managers, strategists, and creatives, you’ll lead the Account team, ensuring the success of our clients and their brands. Internally, the role involves leading a team to achieve short and long-term goals aligned with agency growth plans.

You have three main areas of accountability.

New business. You’ll need to effectively communicate our value proposition, help market the agency, and nurture leads from hello to welcome aboard. The agency’s leadership team will help you do that.

Existing accounts. Our business is to help brands disrupt and grow for good. That means fostering excellent working relationships and alignment with the clients who work on those brands. The account team reports to you.

Member of the agency’s leadership team. You have a deep understanding of the agency business model, and what it takes to be successful: a respectful and collaborative culture, remarkable creative that gets results and financial stewardship.

Specific Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide leadership, management and accountability for the Account Team at Shinebox

  • Design and establish new business goals and strategies

  • Prospect and grow agency revenue

  • Oversee research, lead generation, outreach, and reporting of the agency pipeline

  • Oversight and leadership of agency presentations, pitches and review proposals

  • Manage industry relationships, client accounts and agency partnerships

  • Actively participate in agency marketing efforts

  • Oversee project management of ongoing work and core processes

  • Seek, promote, and engage in Disrupting for good.
